Bangkok. BMW Group Thailand reinforces its commitment to being a leader in sustainability by presenting the Dealer Sustainability Awards 2025, held for the third consecutive year. Four authorized dealerships; Cherdchai Autohaus, German Auto, Millennium Auto, and Performance Motors, were recognized for their success and innovation in integrating sustainability principles into their business operations, creating positive impacts on the environment, society, and economy.

The Dealer Sustainability Awards 2025 program aims to empower BMW’s authorized dealers to conduct business responsibly and recognize the importance of environmental sustainability. It encourages dealers to develop and implement innovative, measurable sustainability practices across four key pillars: CO2 Reduction, Circularity, Employee Engagement, and Societal Impact. The evaluation criteria are rooted in the principles of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

Mr. Rene Gerhard, President and CEO of BMW Group Thailand, stated, “BMW Group Thailand believes that a truly sustainable future arises from collective effort and cooperation. Our dealer network is a vital partner on this journey, and the Dealer Sustainability Awards 2025 recognize bold and actionable innovations that drive measurable progress within Thailand’s automotive ecosystem. I am immensely proud of all four dealers for demonstrating an unwavering commitment to sustainability, translating their purpose into tangible actions across operations, customer experience, and community value. For BMW Group, sustainability and economic success are inseparable, and these award-winning projects showcase how responsible business practices can accelerate growth while mitigating environmental impact. We aim to lead by example, integrating social and environmental considerations at the heart of our strategy and daily decisions, to collectively build a cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive future of mobility for Thailand.”

The collected resources are then used to create funds and vital materials for producing advanced prosthetic legs, which are donated to veterans and people with disabilities across the country. This project not only significantly reduces waste but also transforms seemingly worthless items into meaningful opportunities, giving new life to those in need. The collective effort reflects the company’s deep vision for social responsibility and instills pride in all participants for contributing to positive change.

The group also adopted digital workflows to minimize paper usage. This is further complemented by a reforestation project, where 10 trees are planted for every BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad delivered, aiding forest regeneration and improving air quality, thereby elevating its leadership in automotive industry sustainability.

This investment in employee well-being reflects the belief that happy and well-cared-for employees are the foundation of excellent service and a strong, sustainable organization, radiating positive energy to customers and colleagues.

BMW Group Thailand continues to reinforce its commitment to driving sustainability through tangible operations and innovation. The Dealer Sustainability Awards 2025 reflect the dealers’ success in integrating sustainability principles into their business, covering CO2 reduction, circular economy, societal benefit, and employee engagement.
