The new MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition is the latest chapter in the two brands’ history of memorable collaborations – starting in 1998 with a limited edition classic Mini in blue, one-off models in 1999 and 2021, then a reimagining of the 1998 classic Mini into the all-electric MINI Recharged by Paul Smith.

The first of many special edition MINIs that will arrive in Thailand over the course of 2026, the MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition deftly combines MINI design with Paul Smith’s distinctive style through special exterior colours, exclusive accents and styling, and dynamic details that bring the shared history of the two brands to vivid life.
The Paul Smith Edition offers a choice of three exterior paint finishes, two of which are edition exclusive. Statement Grey is a modern interpretation of the classic Mini Austin Seven’s colourway from 1959, while Inspired White is an homage to the popular Classic Mini Beige colour. The third finish, Midnight Black Metallic, carries over the sleek look of the current-generation MINI Family.
All three finishes are paired with another unique element to the Paul Smith Edition – the roof in exclusive and specially created Nottingham Green paintwork, plus the signature colourful Paul Smith stripes on the driver’s side of the roof edge. A tribute to Sir Paul Smith’s hometown, Nottingham Green also features on the side mirrors, octagonal radiator grille, and wheel hub caps with Paul Smith lettering.
The MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition is equipped with 18-inch Night Flash Spoke aluminium wheels in black and Dark Steel. The MINI logo at the front and rear is offered in the new Black Blue finish to complement the colour composition of Paul Smith and MINI. On the black horizontal handle strip at the rear, Paul Smith’s signature refers to the creative spirit behind the vehicle design.
The modern interior features knitted black surfaces on the dashboard and door panels, with the dashboard surface featuring tone-on-tone stripe patterns inspired by Paul Smith fabrics. The Nightshade Blue sports seats are made of Vescin and have knitted textile in the shoulder and headrest areas. The steering wheel, meanwhile, stars a textile band with bright colourful stripes drawn directly from Paul Smith’s signature design element.
The round display at the centre of the cockpit comes with a choice of three different Paul Smith backgrounds when in Personal Mode. When the door is opened, the driver and front passenger are greeted with a welcome light projection that says ‘Hello’ in handwritten lettering, while Paul Smith’s motto ‘Every day is a new beginning’ adorns the door sill. A graphic of a stylised ‘rabbit’ hand-drawn by Sir Paul Smith himself also features on the floor mat.
The MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition offers the same all-electric Go-Kart feeling as the standard model with the 218 hp / 160 kW electric motor powering the front wheels. From a standstill, the MINI Cooper Paul Smith Edition can hit 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds on the way to 170 km/h top speed, while electric range (WLTP standard) is at an estimated 402 kilometres.
