The MINI Cooper S Convertible Seaside Edition is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology and a peak output of 141 kW/192 hp at 5,000-6,000 rpm with maximum torque of 280 Nm at 1,350-4,600 rpm. The energetic model stands for traditional sportiness and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds – top speed is reached at 230 km/h. The vehicle’s agile handling is supported by a seven-speed Steptronic Sport transmission with dual clutch.
The black, electrically operated soft top takes things at a more leisurely pace: it can be opened or closed automatically driving at speeds up to 30 km/h.
Feel the freedom of the blue sea and the waves on the beach with the MINI Cooper S Convertible Seaside Edition. It starts with a white parallel line that runs beautifully through the doors to the trunk. The unique graphic pattern on the front bumper comes witha special30-digit design, marking the anniversary of the convertible. The body is available in two colours, reflecting the bright blue skies of summer and clean white clouds: Caribbean Aqua for its sporty and sporty style in the style of a four-seater convertible, and Nanuq Whitefor a sense of elegance.
The special front turn signal bezel features a “Seaside“engraving to celebrate the model’s 30th anniversary, and a numerical graphic design in light and dark blue tones. The same lettering also appears on the trunk in a sporty shade of orange. Meanwhile, the 18-inch SEASIDE Pulse Spoketwo-tone wheels with run-flat tyresare reminiscent of the waves on the water surface.
Stepping into the vehicle, the trim strips on the doors were designed with two white strips and ‘Seaside’ lettering. The Carbon Black leather seats with comfortable knee rolls and armrests offer total comfort. The front dashboards are decorated with trim strips, printed patterns, and the lettering of the anniversary. The lower spoke of the Nappa Leather steering wheel features the eponymous ‘Seaside’ lettering of the new MINI edition. The model’s unique flair also appears on the vehicle key featuring the wave pattern in iridescent blue tones with the integrated ‘Seaside’ lettering.
In addition, the MINI is equipped with the latest MINI operating system, which has developed a more responsive and intuitive driving control function. This includes controlling the audio system. The MINI CooperS Convertible Seaside Edition also comes with Park Distance Control, ABSwith automatic braking reinforcement, driving stabilitycontrol, traction controland a rear view camera. The in-car entertainment system includes smartphone connectivity via AppleCarPlay, an8.8-inch touchscreen and ConnectedDrive service.
