The new BMW M760e xDrive marks the first-ever M Performance car with a plug-in hybrid drive system, opening up a breadth of experience in terms of driving dynamics, progressive luxury and feel-good ambience that none of the BMW 7 Series’ rivals can match. With combined power of a six-cylinder in-line petrol engine, an updated electric drive system, and the cutting-edge innovation premiered in this model, BMW’s continuous aspiration to drive forward the Future of Mobility is evident, while the status quo for the number 7 – driving pleasure, long-distance comfort, and pioneering technology – is once again reiterated.

The electric motor sources their energy from a lithium-ion high-voltage battery installed in the vehicle floor, which is the product of fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology. At 22.1 kWh, the battery’s usable energy content is more than doubled than that available in the previous generation of the technology. An electric motor integrated into the 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission and the BMW xDrive all-wheel-drive system are installed to generate high-performance driving experience with sporty flair.

In addition, the compact transmission pre-gearing stage provides even more authoritative electric power in the new BMW M760e xDrive. The pre-gearing stage is used to increase the torque produced by the electric motor to an effective maximum of 450 Nm at the transmission input on the engine side. This innovation, patented and used for the first time by BMW, enables the electric drive system integrated into the transmission housing in a compact, weight-saving design to generate drive torque available either on its own or in addition to the power developed by the combustion engine that could normally only be achieved using a far larger and heavier electric motor. The optimised power delivery achieved with the pre-gearing stage between the electric motor’s rotor and the transmission’s input shaft makes a clear difference both when accelerating off the line and putting in a quick burst of speed.

The new BMW M760e xDrive boasts a performance profile with superior sporting capabilities and top-notch dynamism. The combustion engine is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder in-line unit with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, generating a rated output of 280 kW/ 381 hp at 5,200 – 6,250 rpm and a rated torque of 520 Nm at 1,850 – 5,000 rpm. Teaming up with a new electric motor, the model generates system output of 420 kW/571 hp and system torque of 800 Nm. The model accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, therefore combining the intoxicating performance attributes with the option of locally emission-free driving pleasure in urban areas and beyond. The electric driving range of the new BMW M760e xDrive is also stretched to 85 kilometres in the NEDC cycle.

Made with Swarovski crystals, BMW crystal headlights ‘Iconic Glow’ in the new BMW M760e xDrive create luxurious light effects. The ‘L’ shape of the light bars is also continued in the glass geometry, which gives the rear lights an even more striking appearance. The new BMW M760e xDrive is fitted as standard with 21-inch BMW Individual aerodynamic wheels in Multicolour Dark Grey 3D polished buff. The inherent poise and assurance with detailed design revisions feature in the new BMW X5 reinforces its leading position in the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) for the luxury segment. The new BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport features a six-cylinder in-line diesel engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. Working in tandem with 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission, the new diesel engine joins forces with the 48V mild hybrid system to generate maximum output of 219 kW/298 hp at 4,000 rpm and peak torque of 670 Nm at 1,500 – 2,500 rpm. This enables the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. The maximum speed is added up to 233 km/h.

The new BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport carries a refreshed drive system including new combustion engines, and a latest-generation plug-in hybrid system for the model. Working with 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, a latest-generation six-cylinder in-line petrol engine and a similarly new electric motor team up to develop system output of 360 kW/ 489 hp and a combined torque of 700 Nm. The petrol engine’s nominal output of 230 kW/ 313 hp at 5,000 – 6,500 rpm with engine torque of 450 Nm at 1,750 – 4,700 rpm. The powertrain accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. It stands at 1,700 millimetres and combines dynamically stretched proportions with exceptional visual muscularity. The model has slim headlight units with arrow-shaped daytime driving light elements. Adaptive LED headlights, High-beam assistant and BMW kidney ‘Iconic Glow’ create an extremely eye-catching and brand-typical look. The vehicle is further equipped with M high-gloss Shadow Line, M high-gloss Shadowline with Extended Contents and M Lights Shadow Line.

The model is also equipped with an electric motor from the mild hybrid technology integrated into 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission which generates an output of up to 9 kW/12 hp, helping the combustion engine to deliver a smooth, dynamic drive along with high efficiency. The latest generation of the BMW xDrive system once again splits drive torque between the front and rear wheels variably and as the situation demands – only now with even greater precision and speed. The sporty responses of the new BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport is enhanced by Adaptive 2-axle air suspension, giving it the ideal suspension tools to deliver dynamism and ride comfort on the road, plus unshakable traction off the beaten track. The inclusion of Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Professional assist drivers in manoeuvring the vehicle.

The flanks of the new BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport are defined by familiar BMW proportions, a crisply drawn character line and the dynamic roofline. 22-inch M light-alloy wheels Double Spoke style in bicolour can be found within the subtly hexagon-shaped wheel arches. The Air Breathers in body colour combine with the striking wheel arches to underline the exterior’s dynamic looks. The rear of the model has an extremely athletic silhouette with powerful shoulders, which is further accentuated by the wide L-shaped LED rear lights. The tailgate is integrated seamlessly and therefore almost invisibly into the car’s horizontal lines.

The design of the cockpit, complete with the new arrangement and design of the control elements, embodies a progressive re-interpretation of the driver focus for which BMW is renowned. The M Sport Package Pro heightens the dynamically intense character of the model with an M leather steering wheel, M seat belts, and front sport seats along with M Interior trim finishers in Carbon Fibre and an anthracite M headliner. The drive system of BMW iX3 M Sport unit generates a maximum output of 210 kW/286 hp and peak torque of 400 Nm which
unlike with many other electric motors, is sustained at high revs. The BMW iX3 M Sport sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 180 km/h that delivers most fun driving and safety experience with near-actuator wheel slip limitation. The storage capacity of the battery, relative to the installation space required and its weight, has been substantially increased. A gross energy content of 80 kWh – of which 74 kWh is utilised – and the high efficiency of the drive systems allow the BMW iX3 to offer a range of up to 460 kilometres in the WLTP test cycle and up to 470 kilometres in the NEDC test cycle.

An innovative charging unit sends power to both the 400V battery and the 12V on-board power supply. When using alternating current terminals, it enables charging at up to 11 kW. Plugging the vehicle into a direct current fast-charging station facilitates charging outputs of up to 150 kW. The high-voltage battery in the BMW iX3 M Sport can therefore be charged from 0 to 80 percent of its full capacity in 34 minutes.BMW iX3 M Sport also comes with Adaptive recuperation which is also geared to enhance efficiency and driving comfort during a journey.

The BMW iX3 M Sport (Pro) comes with 20-inch M aerodynamic wheels, Bicolour, while the BMW iX3 M Sport (Inspiring) offers 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, Bicolour. The external appearance of the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive distinguishes itself from the other models in the series thanks to exclusive design highlights and distinctive M design elements tailored to the technical requirements of an especially sporty driving style. It features BMW crystal headlights Iconic Glow and a panorama glass roof Sky Lounge. The twin circular headlights and kidney grille have been reinterpreted as the focal point of the new flagship model.

The M Performance package combines with an illuminated BMW kidney Iconic Glow available for the first time, providing an extra touch of exclusivity with an unmistakable lighting signature. The impressive graphics are showcased through the contrasting lines between the illuminated contouring and the dark shimmer of the grille surrounding. The M High-gloss Shadowline with Extended Contents, M rear spoiler, M Sport brake in black high-gloss, and M Sport exterior parts, add extra sporting flourishes, clearly showcasing the performance character of the top-of-the-range model variant. A comfort access system enables drivers to enter the car without holding the remote control, and a soft-close function for doors also provides passengers with premium comfort by automatically closing the doors softly and quietly. Automatic Doors also create unprecedented convenience when entering and departing the car.

The electric motor generates a maximum system output of 485 kW/659 hp with maximum torque of 1,015 Nm. The model can accelerate from 0 to
100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, making it the fastest all-electric BMW model with a peak speed of 250 km/h. The lithium-ion battery, equipped in the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive, generates a high voltage battery energy content of 105.7 kWh and electric energy consumption of 23.8 – 20.8 kWh/100 km, with electric driving range of up to 560 km (WLTP) and up to 576 km (NEDC). The fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology installed in the vehicle is being constantly developed in order to further improve both power output and efficiency. This applies not only to the powertrain and power electronics, but also to the high-voltage battery and charging technology.

The model is fitted as standard with the automatic transmission and BMW xDrive electric all-wheel drive together with Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Professional. Integral Active Steering also assists with manoeuvring, especially in tight corners or when parking a car. The adaptive two-axle air suspension is included in this variant. The Executive Drive Pro helps balancing comfortability with driving dynamics.

Peace of mind is further ensured with numerous safety systems in this model, such as crash sensors, acoustic protection for pedestrians, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). In addition, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) helps prevent the wheels from locking up whenever drivers hit the brakes and the Brake Assist helps to increase the brake force during braking, thereby shortening the braking distance. The model comes equipped with 21-inch M aerodynamic wheels in Multicolour 3D polished buff.

On the inside, the new BMW i7 M70 xDrive elevates BMW driving pleasure to another level. Multifunctional seats are available for the driver, front passengers, and backseat passengers. The car also includes a massage function for the driver’s seat and backseat passengers. Active seat ventilation in the front and back seats and 4-zone automatic air conditioning guarantee adequate air flow circulation and provides passengers with good air quality. The cabin is decorated with M Sport interior parts coming with M Leather steering wheel and BMW Individual Gran Lusso interior. The M headliner Alcantara anthracite, Carbon Fibre M interior trim with silver stitching/Piano Finish Black, and Glass application ‘CraftedClarity’ are decorated to add the classic touch. Ambient lighting and roller Executive Lounge seating also create a luxurious atmosphere for the vehicle.

BMW Live Cockpit Professional is a convenient and attractive way to provide vehicle information to the driver while helping to keep their attention on the roadway. BMW ConnectedDrive comprises all digital services that intelligently connect the vehicle with the outside world. BMW Touch Command offers comprehensive operation and setting options near the centre armrest. Other highlights of the new BMW iDrive include the extended functionality of BMW Maps. It now offers not only Augmented View on the information display behind the steering wheel, but also improved functions for even more precise charging-optimised route planning. This helps to make long journeys in the model particularly comfortable and efficient.

The unique BMW Theatre Screen and Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System turn the rear compartment into an exclusive personal cinema on wheels. At the same time, the standard BMW Iconic Sounds Electric by Hans Zimmer provides a fitting acoustic and exhilarating accompaniment.
