Power output has gone up from 240 kW \/ 326 hp in the previous iX xDrive40 model to 300 kW \/ 408 hp here, while torque has risen from 630 Nm to 700. This ultimately gives the new iX a much more responsive feeling on the road with 0-100 km\/h acceleration shortened to just 5.1 seconds. Battery capacity has also gone up from 76.6 kWh to 100.4 kWh, raising maximum range on the WLTP standard from 425 to 602 kilometres.<\/p>\n\n<p>On the road the new BMW iX xDrive45 M Sport delivers a satisfying blend of precision and comfort. Newly added Integral Active Steering enables steering capability on the rear wheel, significantly improving manoeuvrability at lower speeds as well as stability at high speeds. Adaptive 2-axle air suspension provides adjustable ride height based on the selected driving mode, ensuring supreme smoothness and comfort atop the 21-inch M aero wheels. Combined with the typically bold stance of an SAV, the new BMW iX1 eDrive20L M Sport cuts an even more impressive figure on the road compared to its predecessor, with the updated three-dimensional closed kidney grille up front flanked by adaptive LED headlights that extend well into the vehicle\u2019s sides. Crisply sculpted surfaces add a muscular and sporty feel that is further elevated with the M Sport exterior trim, which includes the elegant gleam of high-gloss Shadowline on both sides to go with aluminium satinated roof rails and 19-inch M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke Bicolour design.<\/p>\n\n<p>As expected, the extended wheelbase means greater comfort on the inside. Rear passengers are sure to appreciate the extra 81 mm of legroom and 107 mm of kneeroom, as well as the seats\u2019 softer foam and a 15 mm extension to the cushion \u2013 all of which are complemented by a comfort-focused suspension system that is specifically tuned for the model. The rear seats themselves are arranged in a 3-part, 40:20:40 split with backrests that fold down to increase total storage volume from 490 to 1,600 litres. The addition of Comfort Access system 2.0 further elevates convenience with automatic proximity-based locking and unlocking of the vehicle. With BMW Digital Key Plus, convenience goes up another notch with your smartphone able to function as your car key \u2013 complete with the ability to automatically unlock the car with proximity to your phone. Up top, the new panorama glass roof is the largest one on offer in this segment and gives the already expansive interior an even greater sense of space.<\/p>\n\n<p>The long-wheelbase iX1\u2019s interior also caters to the driver with an M leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, enhanced assistant systems through Driving Assistant Plus and Parking Assistant Plus (including Surround View camera systems), and support for upgrading to Parking Assistant Professional, which adds remote parking controls on your smartphone and support for up to 10 automated parking manoeuvres with a total distance of up to 600 meters. Even more features are accessible through the BMW ConnectedDrive Store, which runs on top of the latest BMW Operating System 9 software. A 10.7-inch Control Display offers roomy and convenient access to all systems and functionalities, working in tandem with a 10.25-inch instrument screen and BMW Head-Up Display. An upgraded audio experience will make every trip a joy with soulful tunes from the included Harman Kardon hi-fi loudspeaker system.<\/p>\n\n<p>The all-electric, 5th-generation BMW eDrive powertrain that sits at the heart of the new BMW iX1 eDrive20L M Sport delivers a satisfying and responsive dose of power for all your journeys. The electric motor produces up to 150 kW \/ 204 hp of power and 250 Nm torque \u2013 resulting in a breezy 0-100 km\/h time of 8.6 seconds and a top speed of 175 km\/h. BMW IconicSounds Electric is on board to deliver a satisfying soundscape that reacts to every movement on the road. The 66.5 kWh high-voltage battery provides enough power to achieve a range of 402-433 km under WLTP. DC charging tops out at 130 kW of input for a minimum 10-80% charging time of 32 minutes, while the addition of AC Charging Plus enables support for fast AC chargers with up to 11 kW of power for a 0-100% top-up duration of 6 hours and 45 minutes. The screen offers access to the full range of MINI Experience Modes, which adjusts the mood and feel of the interior to match your own with lighting, colours, and jingle sounds tailored to each mode \u2013 plus 3 selectable lighting patterns for the headlights and taillights.<\/p>\n\n<p>Both Classic-style MINIs come packed with driver assistance systems that include Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Warning, and Front &amp; Rear Collision Warning. The Parking Assistant can pick out the right parking spot and automatically reverse the vehicle in. Digital Key Plus comes equipped as standard to turn your smartphone into a car key with convenient remote controls through the MINI App.<\/p>\n\n<p>Both the Cooper SE and Aceman SE in Classic trim retain their tried-and-true, all-electric powertrain. The star of the show remains the electric motor, which produces 160 kW \/ 218 hp of power and up to 330 Nm torque to deliver snappy performance. The Cooper SE Classic achieves a 0-100 km\/h time of 6.7 seconds and can reach 400 kilometres in electric range under WLTP standard, while the Aceman offers 405 kilometres of driving range. The centrepiece is the new sheet metal main frame made of steel \u2013 which is both more compact and stiffer than prior RT models. In combination with a similarly more compact drive unit, the new chassis design concentrates mass towards the bike\u2019s overall centre of gravity to achieve more precise and stable handling. The adjustable side trim allows the rider to regulate airflow for comfortable ventilation or maximum protection from the wind and weather, while cylinder trim panels keep your shoes and ankles protected from water even in the rain.<\/p>\n\n<p>The handlebars, footrests and seat of the new BMW R 1300 RT have all been optimised and positioned to suit the rider\u2019s ergonomics. The rider is positioned further forward than on previous RT models, enabling the front end to respond more quickly to every control. This results in more agility at high speeds, while maintaining the same precision and smoothness for relaxed riding. As for the luggage space, two 27-litre storage cases are included as standard. Each case can be expanded to a maximum capacity of 33 inches, significantly expanding the bike\u2019s interior space. Two top cases are also included, with capacities of 39 and 54 litres, while the special edition Option 719 Camargue also comes standard with a large top case with heated backrests.<\/p>\n\n<p>The newly designed body, complete with all these features, is mounted on a suspension system that utilizes Dynamic Chassis Adaption (DCA) technology, which electronically adjusts the spring and suspension stiffness. It also offers two different modes of lean angle. Standard mode keeps the vehicle&#8217;s neck parallel to the road surface for a smooth and stable ride. Second mode raises the vehicle&#8217;s rear end higher than the front end, with stiffer springs and suspension, resulting in a more precise and responsive handling experience.<\/p>\n\n<p>The front of the new BMW R 1300 RT features LED headlights that provide bright lighting for enhanced safety on every route. The Headlight Pro package, which comes as standard equipment for the Thai market, adds the ability to adjust the headlight angle to tilt down or up according to the angle of the vehicle&#8217;s body. This helps the headlight maintain the maximum illumination distance in every riding situation, whether accelerating, decelerating, or adjusting the vehicle&#8217;s angle via the DCA suspension system.<\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to the redesigned bodywork, the BMW R 1300 RT is powered by a newly developed engine. This 1,300cc, four-stroke, twin-cylinder boxer engine is the most powerful boxer engine in the BMW lineup, producing a maximum output of 107 kW \/ 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and a peak torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a wet clutch with integrated rear wheel lockup protection. Ease of use is also ensured by the standard Shift Assistant Pro, which enables clutchless gear changes.
