Pathumthani. MINI Thailand recently reignited the passion for performance and set hearts pounding with excitement at the much-anticipated MINI John Cooper Works Track Day. The exclusive event brought together over 200 enthusiastic customers for an unforgettable experience, offering them a first-hand encounter with the cutting-edge capabilities of the all-new electric John Cooper Works family.

Held at the Pathum Thani Speedway, the four-day event prominently featured the powerful, top-of-the-line MINI John Cooper Works Electric and the dynamic MINI John Cooper Works Aceman. Participants were immersed in a variety of exhilarating MINI driving disciplines designed to showcase the brand’s signature go-kart feeling and thrilling performance. These included adrenaline-pumping fast laps that truly got hearts racing, alongside challenging gymkhana-style driving that tested agility and precision. All activities were conducted with a strong emphasis on safe driving practices, under the expert guidance and supervision of BMW certified instructors, ensuring a thrilling yet secure experience for all attendees.

The 3-door MINI JCW Electric packs an all-electric drivetrain that produces up to 190 kW / 258 hp of power and supplies 350 Nm of instantly available torque. The responsiveness of pure electric power is amped up even further with the inclusion of an electric boost function, which provides extra 20 kW power to the motor for blazing-fast acceleration.

The car features a red-white-black JCW logo inspired by motorsport’s iconic checkered flag as well as an accentuated rear spoiler that optimizes aerodynamics for increased range and more. As a result, this new JCW will continue to captivate the eye on every journey – and with confidence along the way thanks to its 371-kilometre max range.

The famous red and black of John Cooper Works can also be found on the inside – with black JCW sports steering wheel adorned in red decorative stitching and a fabric grip at the six o’clock position. JCW sports seats offer secure support during dynamic driving and a seamless continuation of the red accent stitching on black leatherette found on the dashboard. Drivers will also be delighted by MINI Experience Modes.

The first-ever MINI JCW Electric is available in Legend Grey, Chili Red II, Nanuq White, Midnight Black II, and Blazing Blue at the price of 2,199,000 THB (VAT and MSI Standard included).

And for the 5-door MINI John Cooper Works Aceman featuring the same 190 kW / 258 hp electric powertrain from the 3-door MINI John Cooper Works Electric, the MINI JCW Aceman offers a more spacious interior and adjusted ride height while still bringing serious performance to the table. Topping out at 200 km/h, the MINI JCW Aceman can hit 100 km/h from a standstill in just 6.4 seconds. With a 54.2 kWh high-voltage battery at its heart, the MINI John Cooper Works Aceman can achieve a WLTP-standard range of 355 kilometres. Through high-speed 95kW DC charging, the MINI JCW Aceman can fully recharge its battery in just 31 minutes, while 11 kW AC charging time comes in at 5:30 hours.

The MINI JCW Aceman sports a larger 19-inch John Cooper Works wheel in 2-tone Strive Spoke style, while the larger interior space is enhanced further by a panorama glass roof. As with the 3-door MINI JCW Electric, the MINI JCW Aceman’s interior sports all the signature elements of a John Cooper Works vehicle – including exclusive JCW steering wheel and sports seats sitting on either side of the main circular OLED display, which also provides access to the MINI Experience Modes.

For all MINI John Cooper Works models, the Digital Key Plus provides a convenient digital vehicle key on the smartphone. This allows the vehicle to be comfortably unlocked or locked without having to pick up the smartphone. Both the MINI John Cooper Works Aceman and MINI John Cooper Works Electric include a Remote Parking function that supports parking and unparking the vehicle via the smartphone.

The first-ever MINI John Cooper Works Aceman arrives in Thailand with a choice of Legend Grey, Chili Red II, Nanuq White, and Midnight Black II at the price of 2,399,000 THB (VAT and MSI Standard included).
