The first-ever BMW iX2 xDrive30 M Sport carries all the expressive design elements of a true Sports Activity Coupé. The model-specific front-end design brings unmistakable sporting allure and visual extravagance to the vehicle. For the first time in the premium compact segment, an ‘Iconic Glow’ kidney grille, along with continuous contour lighting, gives the car a particular extrovert and aggressive appearance, especially during the hours of darkness. The brand-new twin headlights, featuring striking daytime driving lights in a four-eyed design and adaptive LEDs that improve visibility and give better illumination of the road ahead through corners, underscore the vehicle’s sleek and active characteristics alongside the expressive rear lights. The roofline flows along an unbroken path into the rear end to create a slim, coupé-shaped silhouette in signature SAC style and is further accentuated by 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in V Spoke 873 M Bicolour design.
The first-ever BMW iX2 xDrive30 M Sport is equipped with fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, featuring two electric motors—one at the front axle and one at the rear—that collectively generate a system output of 230 kW/313 hp and a system torque of 494 Nm. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. A combination of the high-voltage battery’s impressive 66.5 kWh and the high efficiency of the drive system enable a range of up to 417-449 km in the WLTP cycle.
The vehicle boasts a maximum DC charging power of 130 kW, enabling a rapid 0-80% charge in just 29 minutes, while its maximum AC charging power of 22 kW allows for a complete 0-100% charge in just 3 hours and 45 minutes. The model features Driving Assistant and has the ability to upgrade to Driving Assistant Plus via the ConnectedDrive Store. The standard Cruise Control with braking function are equipped to increase comfort and safety both in everyday driving and on longer journeys. Adaptive M suspension enables drivers to choose freely between comfortable or sporty driving styles. For maximum comfort, Parking Assistant Plus also makes parking and manoeuvring the vehicle easier.
The interior of the first-ever BMW iX2 xDrive30 M Sport exudes a modern premium ambiance with sporty touches, adorned in interior trim finishers Aluminium with Graphic accents and M Alcantara/Veganza combination in Black with contrasting Blue stitching upholstery. The instrument panel is decorated with Sensatec finish. The standard specifications include M Sport Seats with electric seat adjustment and a memory function for the driver and front passenger. The newly developed panoramic glass roof creates a new sense of spaciousness and comfort. The multifunction steering wheel, the exterior mirror package, and an interior rear-view mirror with an automatic anti-dazzle function are also included in this model.
The interior camera function enables passengers to take pictures of the interior of the parked vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle also offers a comfort access system, which enables drivers to enter the car without holding the remote control.
The first-ever BMW iX2 xDrive30 M Sport also includes a modern infotainment system – the BMW Head-up Display and widescreen display combination with 10.25 inches instrument cluster and 10.7inches curved Central Information Display running the latest BMW Operating System 9, which opens up a greater range of personalisation options. The model come with a modern entertainment system including BMW Live Cockpit Professional, ConnectedDrive Services, a HiFi Harman Kardon loudspeaker system and wireless phone charging. Another feature is smartphone integration, which allows driver and passengers to wirelessly connect their mobile device to the vehicle via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
