Bangkok. BMW Thailand has successfully bounced back through strategic business operations and excellent services for corporate sales in the first quarter of 2023, which has seen impressive sales growth at 11.9% year-on-year and a growing preference for electric vehicles among corporate customers. With the commitment to respond to ever-changing customer demands, BMW Thailand continues to offer a wide range of products through the ‘Power of Choice’ philosophy that encompasses its portfolio of vehicles and drivetrains, including internal combustion engine vehicles and EV models. Currently, BMW Thailand offers up to four premium BEV models in every segment: the BMW iX3, BMW iX, BMW i4 and the BMW i7, bringing a wide range of sustainable mobility to customers. This is also in alignment with BMW Group Thailand’s mission to drive forward the Future of Mobility, where sustainability and environmental concerns are highlighted, and to offer Sheer Driving Pleasure to all commuters.
Mr. Alexander Baraka, President and CEO, BMW Group Thailand, said: “During the past few years, we have observed the shift of interest in business direction that is emphasised more on creating a sustainable and environmentally-friendly future. Following the country’s reopening and economic recovery, we are also seeing an increasing preference for electric vehicles among our corporate customers – including embassies, hotels, and other corporate organisations – resulting in significant growth of a 37% ratio of EV corporate sales in the first quarter of 2023, compared to 32% last year.”
“BMW Group Thailand will continue to innovate and offer the ‘Power of Choice’ to our corporate customers, which has been proven by the launch of both the BMW i7 and BMW 750e xDrive M Sport, the all-electric and plug-in hybrid models from our Luxury Class that provide a clear business advantage for our corporate customers – as well as exclusive packages that will be offered soon.”
