Nakhon Pathom – BMW Thailand is preparing to send Thai amateur golfer representatives to the world stage through the BMW Golf Cup 2025, renowned as the world’s largest amateur golf tournament. This year’s qualifying round, held at Nikanti Golf Club in Nakhon Pathom province, attracted over 1,900 amateur golfers from across the country. 120 Winners from 16 qualifying venues nationwide will advance to compete in the National Final in November this year. This prestigious event will determine the top three golfers who will represent BMW Thailand and compete in the World Final, scheduled for March 2026.
The BMW Golf Cup 2025 qualifying rounds commenced in February 2025, spanning multiple provinces nationwide, including Ubon Ratchathani, Phitsanulok, Chiang Mai, Surat Thani, Songkhla, Phuket, Chonburi, and Nakhon Pathom, extending to Bangkok, and will conclude on May 21, 2025, comprising a total of 16 tournaments. Adding to the excitement, special hole-in-one prizes are offered to amateur golfers who achieve this feat, including:
- An exclusive trip for two to Munich, Germany, sponsored by BMW Financial Services Thailand.
- A Bowers & Wilkins speaker, sponsored by Bowers & Wilkins (already won at the Chiang Mai tournament).
- A GARMIN Golf Launch Monitor, sponsored by GARMIN, a leading smartwatch brand.
- A Titleist T-Series iron set, sponsored by Titleist, a world-renowned golf product and accessory manufacturer (already won at the Phuket tournament).
Furthermore, BMW Thailand continues its tradition of inviting all golfers to contribute to charity. Part of the proceeds from the BMW Golf Cup 2025 will be donated to the Chaipattana Foundation to support its operations under the Royal Initiative projects of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej
