Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Director and Senior Advisor, Chaipattana Foundation (left) granted an audience to BMW Group Thailand’s management representatives, led by Ms. Kris Joo, President and CEO, BMW Group Thailand, to pass the proceeds from the BMW Golf Cup 2025 to the Chaipattana Foundation.
Bangkok. The Chaipattana Foundation, represented by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Director and Senior Advisor, received a contribution from BMW Group Thailand, led by Ms. Kris Joo, President and CEO, BMW Group Thailand, to support the Foundation’s operations in accordance with the royal initiatives of His Majesty the late King Bhumibhol Adulyadej. The contribution will help improve the quality of life of communities, promote sustainable social development, and support various public-benefit initiatives, reflecting BMW Thailand’s long-standing commitment to creating positive impact for the society. The contribution of THB 1,000,000 was raised through the BMW Golf Cup 2025.
The BMW Golf Cup is one of the world’s largest tournaments for amateur golfers. which was first held in 1982. In 2026, more than 2,000 Thai amateur golfers participated in 17 qualifying tournaments nationwide, competing for one of 68 places in the National Final, scheduled to take place in November 2026. The top two winners in each competition category will earn the honor of representing Thailand at the BMW Golf Cup World Final 2026, the tournament’s global championship round.
