Bangkok. BMW Group Thailand has reinforced its commitment to customer excellence with the appointment of Khun Chanin Thiticharupaisal as the Director of Customer Support for BMW Group Thailand, effective 1st October 2024. He succeeds Mr. Stefan Sloboda, who will continue to champion BMW’s customer-first philosophy in his new role as Director of Customer Support at BMW Group Japan. This leadership change underscores BMW’s customer-centric vision, as Khun Chanin steps into this crucial role to drive customer support strategies and enhance the premium ownership experience. This transition marks a significant step in BMW Group’s ongoing efforts to elevate its customer service to new heights in the premium automotive market.

With more than 19 years of experience at BMW Group Thailand, Khun Chanin brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role from his previous responsibilities in the sales operations and customer relations areas. His career progression within the company includes key leadership positions that have sharpened his expertise in the BMW and BMW Motorrad brands. Most recent serving as General Manager of Sales, Khun Chanin has gained invaluable insights into a comprehensive understanding of the dealer network and customer interactions. This diverse background will empower him to effectively address customer-centric initiatives, leveraging his deep understanding of both operational excellence and client needs.

In his new position as Director Customer Support, Khun Chanin Thiticharupaisal will be leading the customer support division, overseeing the entire aftersales ecosystem of BMW Group Thailand, including aftersales services, technical management, parts management and aftersales marketing, to ensure BMW’s commitment to excellence remains unmatched. His responsibilities extend to fostering deeper customer loyalty and strengthening collaborations with dealerships to maintain the highest service standards.

Mr. Rene Gerhard, President and CEO of BMW Group Thailand said: “Excellence in service is what we have always put first and foremost in our strategies. It is a crucial factor that leads to customer confidence and trust in our brands. On behalf of BMW Group Thailand, I would like to express my appreciation to Mr. Stefan Sloboda for his commitment in delivering exceptional customer experiences in the past five years, resulting in the continuously increasing customer satisfaction index (Net Promoter Score) in services. Our standards in providing maintenance and technical services have also been kept at the highest level. These achievements are testament of Mr. Sloboda’s unwavering dedication and leadership, and I am certain that he will bring the same success to BMW Group Japan as well.”

“I would also like to extend the warmest welcome to Khun Chanin as the new Director Customer Support. For almost 20 years, Khun Chanin has proven his passion and commitment in our customer-centric philosophy as well as his perpetual dedication for success. I am confident that his leadership will not only inspire our teams but also strengthen the bonds we share with our dealer network and valued customers across Thailand,” said Mr. Gerhard.
