Succeeding Mr. Michael Rainer with new assignment as CFO of BMW Group Latin America
Bangkok. BMW Group Thailand has announced that Mr. Sven Hovden has taken over as Chief Financial Officer, effective from 1st October 2023. He succeeded Mr. Michael Rainer, who is moving to a new role as Chief Financial Officer of BMW Group Latin America. The appointment of Mr. Hovden reflects BMW Group Thailand’s commitment to attracting top talent and investing in the development of its operations in the region
Mr. Hovden previously served as the General Manager of Finance at Plant Rosslyn for BMW Group South Africa, where he gained experience in finance, controlling and customs. He was later positioned as General Manager of Controlling, responsible for sales division of BMW Group South Africa before moving to Thailand. In his new role, Mr. Hovden will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of BMW (Thailand) Co., Ltd., BMW Group Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and BMW Parts Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
